Introduction
Dear Member
We look forward to welcoming you to the summer SRS meeting in Inverness. I hope you will agree that we have arranged an interesting and varied agenda. Our speakers are all experts in their field and the topics have been chosen to be of interest to both diagnostic and therapeutic members of the SRS. With Scottish consultant appraisals due this May and the new contract expected to be offered the same month the timing for two of the talks is perfect.
Weekends become more precious especially for those of us with families and the prospect of a Saturday meeting away has been known to cause some discord not least in the Todd household. The solution is, of course, to bring the family for a Spring weekend in the beautiful Highland countryside and our recently appointed capital city. The social events have been designed to appeal to children and the Saturday evening meal will be informal and fun.
For those without children or those wishing to escape them, you may prefer the Friday afternoon golf on the dramatic course at Rosemarkie or the formal dinner in a riverside restaurant.
Whatever the reason or attraction do join us for an educational and enjoyable Highland rendezvous.
Don't delay - book the leave now!
