Looking for information on a particular topic? Often typing your query into a general internet search engine is remarkably effective. Try visiting Google, probably the best search engine of them all, and enter your search there.

NHS Direct On Line
Plenty of info, including NHS and non-NHS organisations around the country. Includes contact details for various self help and support groups. Curiously, it tells the Scots to go away and use the HEBS site (below), as it is for England & Wales, but don't let that stop you.

BACUP is a UK based organisation providing information and support for those with cancer, and their families and carers.
