Case 54

Azygous fissure

A chest film in an asymptomatic individual

The relevant part of the film (the right apex) has been enlarged.

Findings

The enlarged area (the right apex) shows the azygous fissure more clearly. The sample CT image through the chest clearly shows the fissure from a different approach.

A: PA CXR - 19kb B: Right apex - 10kb C: CT Chest - 15kb
